Always Know Where You Are

Our "breadcrumb" list at top of every page shows you where you are in our site. You can click on any link to move up one or several levels.

Use Your Keyboard

If you prefer to use your keyboard instead of a mouse, our ACCESSKEY shortcuts let you jump directly to a specific area on a page. The keys, listed below, are accessed on Window's operating systems with the "Alt" key and with the "Ctrl" key on Macintosh systems.

Left Graphics & Quotes Column: ALT-l or CONTROL-l

Top of Page: ALT-t or CONTROL-t

Bottom of Page: ALT-b or CONTROL-b

Previous Page: ALT-p or CONTROL-p

Next Page: ALT-n or CONTROL-n

Web Site Links & Search Button: ALT-w or CONTROL-w

Section Links: ALT-s or CONTROL-s

Related Page Links: ALT-r or CONTROL-r

Have A Page Translated

We created our site to make it easy to be widely read, easy understood, and readily translated. We provide a list of links to free online translators and provide graphic symbols to visually convey universal ideas.

Use A Screen Reader

If you prefer to listen to our site, we provide alternative descriptions for our graphics and have embedded tab key links so you can quickly move around a page.

Just press the tab key to toggle through the tab links listed below. When the link you want is displayed in the bottom URL box, press the ENTER key to go there.

First Tab - Go to Graphics & Quotes Column
Takes you to the top of the left hand column which contains graphics and quotes. (It skips our site logo at the top of the page.)

Second Tab - Go to Beginning of Page Text
Takes you directly to the main text in our middle column.

Third Tab - Go to Bottom of Page
Takes you directly to the bottom of our text page where you can use our top, previous and next page links.

Fourth Tab - Go to Search Button & Web Site Links
Takes you directly to the top of our right hand navigation column. Here you can access our breadcrumb links, site menu and our search button.

Fifth Tab - Go to Section Links
Takes you directly to the middle of our right hand navigation column, where our donation and popular links appear.

Sixth Tab - Go to Page Related Links
Takes you directly to the bottom of our right hand navigation column, where we provide links to external sites, which open up a new window.

Customize Your Screen Display

You can change how our pages display on your computer screen by using the Text Size command in MS Internet Explorer or the Text Zoom command in the View menu in Netscape. We also use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) formatting if you prefer to make more extensive display changes.
